The first collages in the series are made up of images from singular events – whether a walk in the park, my son sleeping, or a fishing trip. These experiences, which have taken place over a period of time, have been collapsed into a singular moment, challenging the way we experience time.

The second part of the series is created from images in my personal archive taken at the exact same time of the day over a period of 8 years. These images have then been combined, juxtaposed and forced into relationships which highlight their tenuous but definitive connection.

Additionally, both these processes celebrate the role of chance in photography at a time when digital imaging has challenged this once essential characteristic of the medium.
