These photographs show contemporary life with its uncertainties and vulnerabilities. They speak to the isolation and loneliness that has rapidly increased in current society and how our “advances” in technology have paradoxically sent us deeper into a state of anxiety and isolation.

Additionally, these photographs serve to remind me that at my core, there is a loneliness that I find both seductive and terrifying. My hope is that this project will help me better understand this impulse as well as the current state of society.
